Advanced Medical Solutions expects first-half revenue growth

20th Jul 2026 15:03

(Alliance News) - Advanced Medical Solutions Group PLC on Monday said expects to report higher revenue for the first half of the year, despite delays to some first half orders.

The Cheshire, England-based surgical dressings maker said it expects to report revenue of GBP115.2 million for the six months to the end of June, up 4.0% from GBP110.8 million a year prior.

AMS said the result comes despite some first half orders shipping later than planned in early July.

The firm also noted progress in expanding direct sales in Europe, which has led to some destocking.

The company added that its first half results are against a "high comparator" caused by order phasing with one key strategic partner last year.

It added that the integration of Peters Surgical and Syntacoll remains on track.

AMS said it "remains confident" of delivering 2026 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation in line with current market expectations.

"With our strengthened portfolio, and a pipeline of exciting and significant opportunities, we remain confident in the future prospects of the group and delivering sustained long-term value," Chief Executive Officer Chris Meredith said.

Shares in AMS were up 0.6% at 280.60 pence on Monday afternoon in London.
