Wynnstay Group PLC - Powys, Wales-based agricultural supplies company - Says trading in the first four months of its new financial year have been in line with expectations across its core activities. Adds that fertiliser operations have experienced "substantial" one-off gains which the company does not specify. Says this was as a result of rising fertiliser commodity prices caused by increases in the price of natural gas. Company expects pretax profit for the year to exceed market expectations. Wynnstay Group PLC - Powys, Wales-based agricultural supplies company - Acquires poultry feed supplier Humphrey Feeds and its associated business, Humphrey Pullets Ltd, for GBP9.5 million in cash. A deferred consideration of up to GBP2.0 million may become payable dependent on the achievement of certain performance targets, Wynnstay added. In order to fund the acquisition, the company is entering into a new GBP12.5 million revolving credit facility. Read More
