Tertiary Minerals PLC - mineral exploration and development company focused on energy transition metals with projects in the US and Zambia - Alongside its local partner, Mwashia Resources Ltd, signs a largely non-binding term sheet for an earn-in and joint venture agreement with an unnamed third party. The agreement provides for the third party to earn into exploration licence 27067-HQ-LEL, the Konkola West project in Zambia. The term sheet proposes the third party will, in stage one, commit to a drill programme to be completed within 14 months of signing the agreement. Following this, the third party will earn an initial 51% interest in the licence, with the option to earn 70% in stage two by sole funding a cumulative USD6 million on exploration within 48 months of signing the agreement. Tertiary Minerals PLC - US and Zambia-focused mineral exploration and development company with a focus on energy transition metals - Reports the its Mukai copper-nickel project in Zambia has reserves and resources of over 2.7 billion tonnes averaging 0.55% copper and has an annual production of 555,000 tonnes of refined copper. Says that data from First Quantum Minerals suggests exploration potential for both copper and nickel at Mukai. Says its 2023 exploration programme will commence at the project with a property-wide soil sampling programme and field follow-up of anomalous areas, as well as more detailed work adjoining the Tirosa Prospect. Tertiary Minerals PLC - mineral explorer and developer focused on energy transition metals - Begins work evaluating First Quantum Minerals' datasets for two of its projects. Says that a "number of exciting exploration targets" are emerging. "We hope to reveal more about this in the near future and in the meantime we are busy planning field programmes to start within the next couple of months as soon as the wet season ends," the company says. Says its focus is "firmly fixed" on copper exploration in Zambia and the US state of Nevada.
