STV Group PLC - Glasgow-based television broadcaster and streamer - Buys London-based Greenbird Media Ltd for about GBP24 million in cash, funded from its existing revolving credit facility. Greenbird, which was founded by television executives Jamie Munro and Stuart Mullin in 2012, holds majority stakes in two unscripted production companies - Crackit Productions at 75% and Tuesday's Child at 51% - and minority stakes in 13 others. Greenbird's portfolio has an archive of over 2,000 hours of content and has produced shows for the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in the UK and for Fox in the US. STV Group PLC - Glasgow-based television broadcaster - Says its free streaming service STV Player will be available on Sky Q. Although STV Player content features throughout Sky Q's user interface in all four nations of the UK and has since January 2021, this marks the first time the streamer's dedicated app has been available too. STV Group PLC - Glasgow-based Scotland-focused television broadcaster - Posts revenue of GBP137.8 million for 2022, down 4.6% from GBP144.5 million a year ago. However, pretax profit rises by 11% to GBP22.2 million from GBP20.1 million, as operating profit increases to GBP25.3 million from GBP21.6 million a year ago. In particular, Studios revenue is GBP23.7 million, down 11% from GBP26.6 million due to timing of deliveries. STV Group PLC - Glasgow-based television broadcaster - Secures a 58 episode commission from free-to-air digital TV channel Really. Commission is for six new series based on its The Yorkshire Auction House show format. The commission includes a third and fourth series of the show as well as two celebrity series and a spin-off series named The Edinburgh Auction House.
