SSE PLC - Perth, Scotland-based electricity generation, transmission and distribution - UK energy industry regulator Ofgem fines subsidiary SSE Generation Ltd GBP9.8 million for breaching its generation licence. Ofgem says the penalty must be paid into its voluntary redress fund no later than September 5.
