SSE PLC - Perth, Scotland-based electricity generator - Confirms steady earnings guidance thanks to increased output of renewable energy, reflecting capacity additions and a "good operational performance against variable weather conditions", particularly in the third quarter. SSE expects adjusted earnings per share for the financial year ending on March 31 to be between 154 and 163 pence. This would be in line with 158.5p in financial 2024, though down from 166.0p in financial 2023. SSE says electricity generation by SEE Renewables is up 26% on a year before in the first nine months of financial 2025. It says business unit operating profit expectations remain unchanged, with the electricity network businesses delivering a "strong operational performance to date".
