Serabi Gold PLC - Brazil-focused gold mining and development company - National Mining Agency issues three-year renewal of Serabi's trial mining licence for its Coringa mine in north-central Brazil. New licence permits transportation of up to 50,000 tonnes of ore per year from Coringa for processing at Serabi's Palito Complex. Brazil's State Secretariat for Environment & Sustainability, or SEMAS, continues to analyse Serabi's application for the installation licence. Company is now permitted to install the planned crusher and ore sorter, expecting the latter to be operational by the fourth quarter. Serabi notes the agreement reached in July with the Bau indigenous territory's communities, which saw Kabu Institute and Mantino Indigenous Association representatives confirming their support for Coringa's long-term development. Serabi Gold PLC - Brazil-focused gold mining and development company - Buys ore sorter from Krakow-based Comex Group for use at its Coringa gold project in north-central Brazil, in the state of Para. Expects ore sorter to arrive in Brazil before the end of the year, and anticipates it to be operational by the third quarter of 2024. Says capacity of the ore sorter is 40 tonnes per hour, leading to a "significant" rise in gold production rates once operational. Read More

Serabi Gold PLC - Brazilian-focused gold mining and development company - Says 0.13 parts per million of gold were found at the Matilda copper project in Brazil in phase one of drilling. Adds 3,204 metres of diamond drilling have been completed in nine holes at Matilda. Says a further 3,200 metre phase two drilling programme started last month. Serabi Gold PLC - Brazilian-focused gold mining and development company - Pretax profit in the first half of 2023 doubles to USD5.1 million from USD2.5 million a year prior. Revenue falls 2.2% to USD30.5 million from USD31.2 million. However, cost of sales decrease 11% to USD20.7 million from USD23.3 million. Total costs contract 12% to USD23.1 million from USD26.2 million. Looking ahead, Serabi says: "The most recent plans assume that during 2023 the group will continue gold production from its Palito complex operation as well as increase production from the Coringa mine and will be able to increase gold production to exceed the levels of 2022.
