IN BRIEF: Somero Enterprises picks Stoughton Trailers exec as new CEO

Somero Enterprises Inc - Fort Myers, Florida-based concrete-levelling equipment - Hires Tim Averkamp to be chief executive officer, starting on Tuesday next week. Averkamp was most recently chief operating officer of Stoughton Trailers LLC, a Wisconsin, US-based lorry trailer manufacturer, prior to which he was group president at Astec Industries Inc, a Nasdaq-listed maker of construction machinery. Back in December, Somero said Jack Cooney will retire as CEO at the end of March. At the time, Somero also said Larry Horsch will step down as chair upon the arrival of the new CEO, at which point a new chair will be chosen from among current directors. Read More
