Solid State PLC - Redditch, England-based electronics supplier for industry and defence - Reports "with great sadness" on Thursday that Chief Executive Officer Gary Marsh has died after a short illness. Names John Macmichael as interim CEO. Macmichael is currently the managing director of Solsta, Solid State's Components division. Solid State says he "will have the support of a long-standing and highly experienced board of directors and senior management team with both industry and PLC expertise, ensuring continuity of leadership."
