Smith & Nephew PLC - Watford, England-based medical equipment provider - Wins 10-year contracted worth up to USD75 million from the US Department of Defense to provide its Renasys Touch negative pressure wound therapy system. "The system will support military medical providers to administer therapy through prolonged casualty care, first surgical intervention, aeromedical transport and definitive care in military treatment facilities," company says. The solution is manufactured in the US.
