Severfield PLC - North Yorkshire, England-based structural steel group - Awarded 'A List' spot by CDP in its annual environmental rankings. CDP, formerly known as the carbon disclosure project, is a non-profit organisation operating an environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states and regions. After reviewing data from its climate change questionnaire for over 21,000 companies, Severfield was awarded the non-profit's highest ranking alongside only "a small number of companies". Severfield credits the achievement to a 33% reduction in its scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions since 2018, as well as its transition to green electricity tariffs. Read More
