Pensana PLC - London-based rare earth metal miner - Reported on Friday a total rare earth oxide reserve at the Longonjo mine of 767,000 tonnes at 2.55%. The proved total rare earth oxides was 3.19% while probable TREO was 2.05% using a NdPrO cut-off of 0.3%. Cutoff grade is the minimum grade required for a mineral to be economically mined. Material found above the grade is considered to be ore. NdPrO is neodymium and praseodymium oxide. Ore reserve estimate was undertaken by Snowden Optiro.
