Red Rock will deliver to Power Metal Resources GBP250,000 in convertible loan notes, with a conversion price equal to the price of any placement of new shares of Red Rock raising proceeds of over GBP200,000. Should conversion not be undertaken within six months from March 8, the CLNs of GBP250,000 are repayable immediately as cash and Red Rock will deliver 166.7 million shares to Power Metal, with accompanying warrants exercisable at 0.25p per share in Red Rock. Katoro Gold PLC - London-based gold and nickel exploration and development company - Proposes hiring Sean Wade, chief executive officer of Power Metal Resources PLC, as non-executive chair. Katoro and Power Metal are joint venture partners on the Haneti Project in central Tanzania. Wade previously served in various senior mining roles including at Berkeley Energia PLC, Pensana PLC and Asia Resource Minerals PLC, and "has worked on numerous transactions in the capital markets". Former Chair Louis Coetzee will remain as executive director after Wade's appointment until a new director is appointed. He will then leave the board and company, but serve as a consultant to Katoro until July 31. Read More
Power Metal Resources PLC - exploration company focused on North America, Africa, and Australia - Confirms commencement of diamond drilling at Molopo Farms Complex Project in southwestern Botswana, where it is targeting a district-scale nickel and platinum group element discovery. Drilling targets a steeply-dipping high-priority conductor at target area T1-14 with depth of 700 to 800 metres. Company also recently completed ground audio-frequency magnetotelluric or AMT work at T1-14 and T1-9, aiming to further refine targeting at two locations along the multi-kilometre scale steeply-dipping conductor. Data allowed Power Metal to further refine targeting at T1-14 before starting drilling. Read More
