IN BRIEF: N4 Pharma gets India patent for medical delivery system

N4 Pharma PLC - Derbyshire, England-based pharmaceutical company, focused on the development of Nuvec - University of Queensland has informed the company that it has been notified by its Indian patent attorney of the granting of its patent for Nuvec in India. Nuvec is a novel silica nanoparticle delivery system for cancer treatments, gene therapy and vaccines. N4 Pharma says the granted patent in India is for a composition of matter patent for the particle itself, alongside the manufacturing process relating to how the particle is made.
