Metals Exploration PLC - gold miner in Philippines - Gold revenue jumps 31% to USD191.1 million in 2024 from USD145.8 million in 2023. In the fourth quarter alone, gold revenue falls 9.7% to USD47.5 million from USD52.6 million in the third quarter. In the final quarter, the company sells 19,144 ounces of gold at an average realised gold price of USD2,481 per ounce. This compares to 21,943 ounces sold at an average of USD2,396 per ounce in the third quarter. Metals Exploration PLC - Philippines-focused mineral resources firm - High Court of Justice in UK sanctions Metals Exploration's buyout of Condor Gold PLC, the firm developing the La India gold project in Nicaragua, the firms say on Monday. Last month, Condor Gold agreed a GBP67.5 million takeover from Metals Exploration. Metals Exploration, backed by property financier Nick Candy, offered 4.0526 shares and 9.9 pence in cash for each Condor share. Metals Exploration PLC - Philippines-focused gold producer - Notes completion of acquisition of controlling interest in Philippines-based Yamang Mineral Corp. The purchase was announced in January. At the time, Metals Exploration said the acquisition of the 72.5% stake in YMC was for USD1.6 million in cash, plus options to subscribe for up to 41 million new shares in Metals Exploration.
