musicMagpie PLC - Stockport, England-based used-technology reseller - Launches Apple devices corporate subscription service. Service allows businesses to rent and manage Apple iPhones and iPads for monthly subscription, starting at GBP13 a month. Says service enables "use of devices in a much more sustainable way" and saves companies "time and money". Renting a device ensures it will be returned to musicMagpie when it is no longer needed, extending device lifespan. Standard subscription 24 months and includes extended warranty. Says Stagecoach is first major customer of subscription service. Partnership will see deployment of fully pre-configured and supported iPads to Stagecoach's network of bus engineers. Read More

musicMagpie PLC - Stockport, England-based used-technology reseller - Notes a "resilient" revenue performance in the six months ended May 31, despite economic headwinds hurting the consumer sector. Revenue totals GBP71.3 million in the period, down marginally from GBP72.8 million a year previous. Sales from the Consumer Technology products division - which accounts for two-thirds of group revenue - are up 16% year-on-year. Sales from the Disk Media & Books division however drop 24% against the prior year, though it notes the comparison period was benefited from increased sales during Covid lockdowns. Read More

The launch of its products is scheduled for the end of this month on the Back Market UK marketplace and for mid-May on the Back Market US marketplace.
