Mkango Resources Ltd - Malawi-focused producer of recycled rare earth magnets, alloys, and oxides - Alongside CoTec Holdings Corp, Mkango says that Tampa, Florida-based PegasusTSI Inc and BBA USA Inc, whose parent is based in Quebec, Canada, have been engaged to complete the engineering, procurement and construction management services for HyProMag USA LLC's rare earth magnet recycling and manufacturing project in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Mkango Resources Ltd - Malawi-focused producer of recycled rare earth magnets, alloys, and oxides - Closes private placement raising gross proceeds of GBP2.3 million through the issue of 29.2 million shares at 8 pence each. Adds that it has issued 1.5 million warrants in aggregate to brokers who advised on the placing, with each warrant exercisable for three years with an exercise price of 8p per warrant. Notes net proceeds of GBP2.2 million from the subscription after fees. Mkango Resources Ltd - Malawi-focused producer of recycled rare earth magnets, alloys and oxides - Maginito Ltd, of which Mkango has a 79.4% stake, signs agreement with Inserma Anoia SL, a Spanish digital technology developer for the industrial and manufacturing industries. Companies to develop a process through which rare earth magnets are extracted from voice call motors in hard drive disks and put through HyProMag recyclers. HyProMag was developed by Maginito subsidiary HyProMag Ltd. It uses hydrogen processing of magnet scrap technology to extract neodymium iron boron from hard drives for re-processing and resale into the rare earth magnets market. Read More

Mkango Resources Ltd - Vancouver-based mineral explorer and developer with exploration portfolio in Malawi - Reduces executive management salaries by between 25% and 50% each from April through to September this year. Says this is part of its cost-cutting initiatives and complementary to its GBP750,000 private placement announced on April 11. Explains that cutting executive pay "conserves additional working capital to advance the company's assets". Mkango Resources Ltd - rare earth metals explorer - Says BBA USA Inc and PegasusTSI Inc have been engaged to complete a feasibility study for the HyProMag USA asset. The study concerns the engineering and design of a rare earth element magnet recycling facility. "The feasibility study is expected to be completed during H2 2024. HyProMag USA has the potential to supply the US with a sustainable, long term domestic supply of neodymium/iron/boron permanent magnets to enable the creation of secure, low carbon and traceable rare-earth supply chains," it says. Mkango owns around 79% of Maginitom which in turn owns all of HyProMag. Toronto-listed CoTec Holdings Corp owns around 21% of Maginitom. Read More
