Logistics Development Group PLC - London-based investment company - Receives requisition notice from 6.86% shareholder Huntress (CI) Nominees Ltd to convene a general meeting. Notice proposes that it "cease making new investments and prioritise the timely return of capital to shareholders" through available cash and liquid investments, "seek to protect value and deliver an orderly realisation of illiquid investments" and review operating costs to increase free cash flow for shareholder distribution. Further, requests no changes be made to the investment management agreement without shareholder approval. Lastly, proposes James Ede-Golightly be appointed as a company director. Logistics Development Group PLC - London-based logistics assets-focused investment firm - Swings to a pretax profit of GBP1.6 million in the six months ended May 31, from a loss of GBP543,000 a year ago. Pertinently, announces a gain of GBP1.4 million on investments measured at fair value, compared to an investment loss of of GBP332,000.
