Kier Group PLC - Manchester-headquartered construction firm - Says it performed "well" in the period to April 30 from January 1, despite inflationary pressures. Says its order book stood at GBP8.5 billion on March 31, reflecting an increase of 6.3% from GBP8.0 billion on December 31. Continues to trade in line with its own expectations.
