Hays PLC - London-based staffing firm - Reports repurchase programme of up to 2.0 million shares, worth up to GBP2.0 million aggregate consideration. Says UBS has been hired to conduct the buyback on behalf of the company during open periods. Notes repurchased shares will be held in the treasury "to ensure that the company has sufficient treasury shares to satisfy its employee share plans."
