FirstGroup PLC - Aberdeen, Scotland-based transport provider - Hires Graham Sutherland as chief executive officer, joining on May 16. Sutherland was CEO of telecommunications firm KCOM Group PLC, a London listing until it was bought by a Macquarie investment vehicle back in 2019. Prior to KCOM, Sutherland held senior roles at BT Group PLC, including CEO of the BT Business & Public Sector division. Sutherland's hire follows Matthew Gregory stepping down as CEO at the company's annual general meeting back in September, following investor pressure.
