Drax Group PLC - Selby, North Yorkshire-based electricity generator - Completes GBP300 million share buyback on Wednesday, buying 47.2 million shares since early August. The buyback was managed by JP Morgan Securities PLC. On Thursday, Drax launches the first tranche of the GBP450 million buyback extension that it announced in July. The first tranche will be worth up to GBP75 million and also will be run by JP Morgan. All the repurchased shares will be held in treasury for cancellation or re-issue. Read More
