City Of London Investment Trust PLC - aims for long-term growth in income and capital by investing in London-listed equities - Reports net asset value total return of 7.5% in the financial year that ended on June 30, down from 20% in financial 2021 but beating the 1.6% return of the FTSE All-Share index. Says performance was helped by the portfolio's tilt toward large companies and dividend payers. NAV per share is 390.9 pence on June 30, up 0.9% from 387.6p a year before.
