Centrica PLC - Windsor, England-based energy provider - Commissions Goldman Sachs International to conduct a new GBP200 million share buyback, starting on Thursday and completing by the end of February. The extension of Centrica's buyback programme was announced with its half-year results late last month. The British Gas-owner notes it has bought back about GBP1 billion in shares since November 2022, almost 14% of its shares issued at the time.
