Challenger Energy Group PLC - Isle of Man-based oil and gas company focused on the Caribbean and the Atlantic-margin - Noting "recent commentary" on the licensing round in Uruguay in relation to its Area Off-1 petroleum license in the country, Challenger says state-owned petroleum company ANCAP has licensed two offshore blocks to Shell PLC, and one deep-water block to APA Corp. One of the blocks licensed to Shell is immediately adjacent to Challenger's Off-1 block.
