Carr's Group PLC - Carlisle, Cumbria-based machinery distributor and engineering firm - Picks Tim Jones to be chair. Jones will join the board on February 1 and take over from Peter Page as non-executive chair at the annual general meeting that month. Page then will switch from executive chair to chief executive officer, a move announced back in August. Jones is currently the non-executive chair of Treatt PLC. The Bury St Edmunds-based natural extracts and ingredients supplier back in June had said Jones would retire as chair on January 27.
