Bankers Investment Trust PLC - aims for capital growth in excess of the FTSE World Index and annual dividend growth ahead of inflation - Reports a net asset value per share of 112.3 pence at April 30, compared to 113.0p at the same time a year prior. Total NAV return in the year ended April 30 is 1.5%. This compares to a total return of 3.2% for the FTSE World Index in the same period. In the six months ended April 30, Bankers' total NAV return is 8.1%. This compares to a total NAV return of 3.5% for the FTSE World Index in the same period. Explains its portfolio benefited as equity markets fared better than last year.
