British American Tobacco PLC - London-based cigarettes, tobacco and other nicotine products maker - Appoints Soraya Benchikh as the new chief financial officer May 1, 2024. The Diageo PLC executive will succeed Javed Iqbal, who will continue to serve as interim finance director until April 30, 2024. She joined Diageo in 2020 and she previously spent 20 years at BAT where she served as president of BAT France, area director for East and Southern Africa, and regional finance director for Europe. The CFO post was left vacant after Finance Director Tadeu Marroco was promoted as chief executive in May this year, replacing Jack Bowles. Read More
