Aquila Energy Efficiency Trust PLC - London-based closed-ended investment company, focusing on small-to-medium-sized energy efficiency projects - Notes the announcement on Thursday that its investment adviser Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft mbH and Commerzbank AG entering into a strategic partnership "aimed at significantly accelerating Aquila Capital's growth and developing the investment adviser into one of the leading asset managers for sustainable investment strategies in Europe". Commerzbank said on Thursday it will purchase a 75% stake in Aquila Capital for an undisclosed fee as part of the deal, which is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in the second quarter of 2024.
