UKLA 6.4.9(1)R disclosure

Savills plc announces that, pursuant to UKLR 6.4.9R(1), it has been informed by John Waters, a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Company, that the Financial Reporting Council has today announced it has censured him, in his then capacity as audit engagement partner at PwC, in relation to the statutory audit of the consolidated financial statements of Babcock International Group Plc for the financial years ended 31 March 2019 and 31 March 2020. The matter solely relates to John Water's historical role at PwC and does not relate to the Company or any member of the Savills group. PwC was similarly censured.The Board has considered the matter and, based on the information available, remains satisfied that John Waters continues to be effective in, and suitable for, his role as a non-executive director of the Company.
