The purchases were made pursuant to the €500 million share buyback programme (the "Programme") announced on 15 May 2026. Shares acquired pursuant to the Programme will be held in treasury, pending their cancellation, which was approved at IAG's Annual General Meeting. Following the purchase, the Company holds 219,460,088 treasury shares and the Company's issued share capital (excluding shares held as treasury shares) consists of 4,392,209,439 shares. The Company's issued share capital is 4,611,669,527 shares. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company to the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
