The Company announces that, during the period from 1 September to 4 September 2026 (inclusive), it purchased through Barclays Bank PLC, acting through its London branch ("Barclays"), the following number of its ordinary shares of 10p each ("Shares") for cancellation on the London Stock Exchange:

Following the purchase of the Shares, the Company holds 4,871,987 Shares in treasury and 545,503,256 Shares in issue (excluding those held as treasury shares). This figure (545,503,256) represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of UKLR 9.6.6.
