HELICAL PLC ("Helical", or the "Company") announces it has purchased the following number of its Ordinary shares of 1.05p each through Peel Hunt LLP.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.
Following the purchase of these shares, the company holds 1,585,611 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 117,481,200 Ordinary shares in issue. The figure of 115,895,589 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for calculating whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
