Transaction in own shares
QinetiQ Group plc (the Company) announces that during the period 19 October 2026 to 23 October 2026 it purchased in aggregate 407,547 ordinary shares of 1 pence each (Shares) for cancellation through Barclays Capital Securities Limited, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 16 July 2026 and pursuant to the latest tranche of its existing share buyback programme announced on 28 September 2026. All shares purchased by the Company will be cancelled.
Following settlement of the above transactions, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue, and its total voting rights, will be 512,811,123 ordinary shares. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury.
