AIMIA ANNOUNCES TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Toronto, October 12, 2026 – Aimia Inc. (TSX: AIM; JSE: AII; AIM: AII) announces today that, in accordance with the terms of its normal course issuer bid ("NCIB"), a form of share buyback programme on the Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX"), announced on 4 June 2026, it has (i) purchased and cancelled 5,000 common shares of no par value (“Common Shares”) and (ii) purchased a further 5,000 Common Shares which are held in treasury, pending cancellation.
All trades were undertaken through TD SECURITIES INC. and are for the period from 2 October – 9 October 2026.

As of close of business of 9 October 2026, the Company now has 88,116,585 Common Shares in issue of which 5,000 shares are held in treasury pending cancellation. Accordingly, the Company has 88,111,585 Common Shares with voting rights, and 88,111,585 is the number that may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
