Purchase of shares for cancellation

Matrix Income & Growth 2 VCT plc announces that on 6 February 2009 it purchased 10,000 Ordinary Fund Shares at a price of 42 pence per share for cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 11,259,333 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence and 9,145,990 C Ordinary Shares of 1 pence in issue.
