Porvair PLC13 June 2005 For immediate release 13 June 2005 Porvair plc ("Porvair") Porvair wins aviation fuel tank inerting supply agreement Porvair today announces that it has signed a supply agreement with ParkerHannifin Corp, one of the world's leading aviation component manufacturers,which is expected to generate at least $3m revenue in the first five years. Theagreement is to supply filtration systems for Parker's aircraft fuel tankinerting systems to be fitted to a range of commercial aircraft from the middleof 2006. The elimination of flammable fuel vapours in commercial aircraft fuel tanks isone of the US National Transportation Safety Bureau's top priorities. Parker'slightweight aircraft fuel tank inerting system addresses this issue and can beeasily fitted within existing aircraft designs. The system generates nitrogenenriched air from a stream of engine air and delivers it into the aircraft fueltanks to reduce flammability. The Porvair filtration system ensures that thestream of engine air fed into the inerting system is free from particulate andany liquid droplets.
