Statement re Reduction of Capital

 

The Company is pleased to announce that today the Court of Session (the "Court") confirmed the cancellation of the sums standing to the credit of the Company's share premium account (the "Reduction of Capital"). 

 

The Court order confirming the Reduction of Capital, and a statement of capital approved by the Court in connection therewith, will be sent to the Registrar of Companies shortly. The Reduction of Capital will become effective upon the registration of the Court order and associated statement of capital by the Registrar of Companies.

 

The purpose of the Reduction in Capital is to provide the Company with a significant pool of reserves which can be used in the future, if required, to fund share buy-backs or other returns of capital in accordance with applicable law.

 

Shareholders do not need to take any further action in relation to the Reduction in Capital.
