Barclays PLC10 September 2007 BARCLAYS PLC 10 September 2007 Bob Diamond speaks at investor conference in New York Robert E Diamond Jr., President of Barclays PLC will refer to the performance ofits investment bank, Barclays Capital, at the Lehman Brothers investorconference in New York today. Commenting on difficult market conditions over thesummer, Mr Diamond will say "Barclays Capital traded profitably in August 2007,after full allocation of costs and the mark to market of all positions.
