Rule 19.6(b) update with respect to post-offer intention statements in relation to the recommended acquisition of Bluefield Solar Income Fund Limited
On 31 July 2026, Drax completed the acquisition of Bluefield Solar Income Fund Limited ("BSIF"), which owns a portfolio of c.0.9GW of solar and onshore wind assets across over 200 sites in the UK.
In the intentions statement within the scheme document published on 29 June 2026 in relation to the BSIF acquisition (the "Scheme Document"), Drax stated that it would engage with Bluefield Partners LLP ("Bluefield") regarding a potential acquisition of all or part of the Bluefield Group with the aim of reaching an agreement within three months.
Agreement has not yet been reached; however, discussions with Bluefield remain ongoing and Drax expects to provide a further update in due course.
This announcement is required under Rule 19.6(b) of the Takeover Code.
