Publication of Annual Impact Report

The Board of Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust plc (the "Company", the "Social Impact Trust" or "SBSI"), which provides a unique investment opportunity to address UK social challenges, today announces the publication of the Company's fifth annual Impact Report.

The report demonstrates that since inception the portfolio has:

·  Reached more than 434,000 people, of which 98% are underserved or disadvantaged.

·  Provided 35,500 people affordable and decent homes.

·  Generated over £375m of public and household savings and benefits.

The report contains details on the key impact themes and performance over the year. It also includes various case studies which demonstrate the impact generated by the portfolio's investees, such as delivering affordable accommodation in areas of high unaffordability, providing high-quality home care for older adults, enabling young ex-offenders to gain employment skills, and generating clean energy for local communities.

Hermina Popa, SBSI Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Better Society Capital, said:

"The UK's most pressing social challenges, from housing affordability to support for an ageing population, cannot be addressed by government alone. The Social Impact Trust's investments continue to channel private capital to the organisations working hardest to address these issues. Our fifth Annual Impact Report shows the scale and depth of that impact, and reinforces why rigorous impact measurement is central to everything we do."

Susannah Nicklin, Chair of Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust plc, also said:

"Five years since launch, the mission of the Social Impact Trust is as vital as ever. The Company has continued to execute on its impact goals over the last year, alongside the Board's shareholder consultation and strategic review. This fifth Annual Impact Report illustrates the transformative impact that the Company's capital has delivered, and demonstrates the vital role that private capital can play when deployed with purpose. Our investees have reached more than 434,000 people across the UK, the vast majority of them underserved or disadvantaged. I welcome ongoing conversations with shareholders following the publication of this report."
