GEO Exploration Limited (AIM: GEO) is pleased to announce the completion of recent exploration activities at its Juno Gold Project in Western Australia, including a native title heritage survey, field reconnaissance and ground truthing of priority magnetic targets. The Company has also engaged Dr Finbarr Murphy to undertake a litho-structural geological interpretation and targeting exercise to guide the next phase of drill targeting. In late September, an annual native title meeting was completed with the Jidi Jidi Aboriginal Corporation who are the native title claimant party covering the southern half of the Juno project. In early October a native title heritage survey was successfully completed that consisted of clearing a new access track and two drill pads to the high-priority JUD003 target area that has been awarded the Western Australian Government Co-funded Exploration Drilling Programme – Round 34 grant funding.

Field reconnaissance and ground truthing of priority magnetic targets across the greater Juno Project was completed. Access tracks and water bore locations were identified and this work will facilitate logistics for future exploration activities. The Company is pleased to advise that Dr Finbarr Murphy has been engaged to undertake a litho-structural geological interpretation and targeting exercise across the entire Juno project. This work has involved processing and interpretation of recently purchased multi-client airborne geophysical surveys in addition to the magnetic and gravity surveys previously collected by the Company. It is anticipated that this work will drive the next phase of drill targeting at the Juno project. The Company will provide further updates as its exploration programme progresses. Tom Harris, GEO’s Exploration Manager, commented: “I am pleased to see the completion of the native title heritage survey and reconnaissance at the Juno Project. I wish to thank the Jidi Jidi Aboriginal Corporation for facilitating the survey in a timely and proficient manner. I am excited to see the results of the targeting study and further progressing exploration at the highly prospective Juno Project.” Omar Ahmad, Executive Director, commented: “We look forward to progressing the next phase of exploration at the Juno Project. The award of government drilling co-funding is particularly encouraging and supports our ambitions for the project. Our priority is to ensure that future drilling is informed by a comprehensive geological understanding of the project and guided by the expertise and recommendations of our technical team. We are confident that this thorough and disciplined approach will provide a strong foundation for the next stage of drilling and help maximise the value of our exploration activities.” The information contained within this announcement is deemed by the Company to constitute inside information under the UK Market Abuse Regulations (“MAR”).
