HBOS PLC26 May 2006 Notification was received on 25 May 2006 by HBOS plc that as at 18 May 2006Barclays PLC had an interest in 152,512,515 HBOS plc Ordinary Shares of 25p each(which represents 4.01 per cent of the issued Ordinary Share capital.
