That, as at 15 February 2006, Barclays PLC, through its various legal entities, no longer had a notifiable interest in the ordinary shares of Axis-Shield plc. 2. That, as at 16 February 2006, Barclays PLC, through its various legal entities, has an interest in 1,662,199 ordinary shares in Axis-Shield plc, representing 3.42% of Axis-Shield's issued ordinary share capital.
