Exercise of Options and Total Voting Rights

Aminex announces that it has issued a total of 5,000,000 ordinary shares of €0.001 each (the "Option Shares") following the exercise of an option by Charles Santos, Executive Chairman and Director, under the Aminex PLC Restricted Share Plan approved by shareholders in July 2020 (the "2020 Share Plan"). The 2020 Share Plan specifically introduced a class of options termed Compensation Options, that may be awarded in lieu of salary as a method of conserving cash and reducing costs in the Company. The options exercised by Charles Santos were Compensation Options awarded in lieu of salary over four years ago, forming part of his overall remuneration package and which will expire in seven months. The exercise will provide £30,000 of additional funding to the Company, which will be used for general working capital purposes.

Applications will be made to the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") and the London Stock Exchange for the Option Shares to be admitted to the FCA's Official List (Equity Shares (transition)) and to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings will commence in the Option Shares at 8.00 a.m. (London time) on 15 May 2026. Following Admission, the enlarged share capital and the total voting rights of the Company will be 4,475,001,044. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
