Clarification Statement: Discount Management Update for Shareholders

June 2026

Further to the announcement released by the Company on 6 July 2026 in respect of its share buyback activity for June 2026 (the "Original Announcement"), Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited ("VEIL" or the "Company") is issuing this statement to clarify the basis on which the average premium/(discount) to net asset value (NAV) figures are calculated.

The average premium/(discount) to NAV figures set out in the Original Announcement were calculated by reference to the Company's US Dollar-denominated share class (VEID). As VEID does not trade with sufficient regularity to provide a reliable reference price, the Investment Manager has decided to calculate and present this figure by reference to the closing price of the Company's ordinary shares, which are quoted in Pounds Sterling on the London Stock Exchange under ticker VEIL.LN, against NAV. All other information contained in the Original Announcement, including the number of shares purchased and their value, is unaffected and remains unchanged.

Below is a summary of buybacks conducted as at 30 June 2026, with the average premium/(discount) to NAV calculated by reference to VEIL.LN:
