Barclays PLC (the "Company") was notified by a third party custodian on 3 February 2010 that, on 18 December 2009, following the reinvestment of the interim dividend for the second half of 2009, Mr T Kalaris and his connected persons received 1,964 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 294.48 p per share.
