STANDARD CHARTERED PLC ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO ITS BOARD
Standard Chartered PLC (the “Company”) today announces that Jackie Hunt has taken the decision, for personal reasons, to step down from the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee, member of the Board Risk, Remuneration and Governance and Nomination Committees with effect from 31 December 2026.
The Company also announces that Lincoln Leong, Independent Non-Executive Director, will succeed Jackie as Chair of the Audit Committee from 1 January 2027, subject to regulatory approval. He will also join the Board Risk, Remuneration and Governance and Nomination Committees on the same date.
Jackie Hunt said: “It has been a privilege to serve on the Board, and I have greatly valued my time with Standard Chartered. I wish my colleagues and the Group every success for the future.”
