Victrex plc ("the Company") today announces that David Thomas has informed the Board that he has stepped down as a Non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect, due to ill health. David was also Audit Committee Chair until recently, with Peter Kiernan succeeding him in that role, as previously communicated.

Dr Vivienne Cox, Chair of Victrex, said "The Board and the Company express their sincere thanks to David for his valuable contribution to Victrex since his appointment as Non-executive director in 2018".
