The Board of JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Penelope Kyle as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 August 2026.

 

Ms. Kyle has international experience across investment management, distribution and regulated governance, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer, EMEA Distribution at Franklin Templeton. She brings deep US equity and North American market expertise alongside strong oversight skills, strategy, operational execution, risk and control frameworks, and regulator engagement, making her well suited for this role.

 

No further information is to be disclosed pursuant to paragraphs 6.4.8 R (2) to 6.4.8 R (6) of the UK Listing Rules in respect of Ms. Kyle's appointment.
